Your last line is laughable. No one misses Enstrom or his 3rd pairing minutes ( 14-16 minutes a game ) . He was extremely injury prone and his body could no longer handle the day to day wear an tear . He was getting beat up in the corners and he was also 6th (percentile) worst in the league in transition. Look it up.
Toby had a good career in Winnipeg but he should have hung them up about two years ago. |

Also incorrect ..... Niku and Nelson didn't need to pass through waivers. |

Or maybe there is a trade coming ? |

Poolman and Charoit would be in a starting lineup for 3/4 of the NHL teams. |

I highly doubt Trouba or Myers get traded so long as the Jets are in contention for the playoffs. We are in the window and every man counts. Myers would leave a big hole especially after his very strong showing in last years playoffs and ability to play the PK and PP very well. Trouba along with Morrissey are both very good shutdown defenseman who excel as a pair. Buff excels at right-side , especially when he carries the puck in the O-zone ( and is often successful on that wrap-around).
Chariot, Poolman, and Kulikov are all in the running for a trade once Niku makes his move from the Moose. |

Absolutely correct. They both have some trade value.

Waived Niku? Why? He will be picked by the first up (Sadbers I think)
Hoping that’s Fake News.
It looked to me that the Jets missed the “real” Endstrom last year. He was clearly finished. |

Right I meant reassignment but with all the other players who were waived or reassigned.- should have clarified that. |

It’s going to cost something to get us a 2nd line center ....just saying ! |
|
|
|
Agreed ... Myers stays ... Troubs may not but won't be moved until after season/playoffs ... play the righties on the right
Poolman goes down ... Chariot & Morrow split time, depending on how they play
What is probability we could trade Kuli with his $4.3M, next 2 ? |

Enstrom was a top 5 defensive player last year. Look it up.
And your weird, isolated voodoo model contradicts basically every single other measurement there is.
You should hang up your stats game. |

If you are implying that Toby shouldn't have hung up his skates and would still be an effective Jet,then you are what's bewildering about most Jet's fans in this city.
I have sat in my section since day one and listened to Jet's fans talk about Pav being a Vezina goalie and how Kevin has no idea what he is doing...for years,I have been telling them...have patience,Kevin knows what he is doing!
Fire Maurice...he know's nothing...is another favorite lol
I just wish Jet's fans would relax and just enjoy the show because yes,you will win a cup...maybe not this year...but you will.
Toby was washed up many moons ago...let's not even talk about his ability to get injured doing the most basic hockey move.
My wife is the Jet's fan in the family, she's been watching hockey for 3 years and even she knew Toby was washed up
Having said that...my biggest fear this summer was my Hawks were going to sign him |

I have absolutely no idea what point you were trying to make here.
All of the actual evidence says Toby can still go, even if not for a full season, and that his defensive ability is among the league’s best. 60ish games, including a playoff run, of Enstrom is worth more to us than an entire season of Chiarot or Morrow |

It seems 31 other NHL GM's and coaches agree with you. Yet Chariot and Morrow would be picked up on waivers instantly. |

I think I asked once before - would you pay Tobias $1.5M for 55 games reg season and no playoff appearances ? ... not saying he'd bite on that - just a hypothetical
I think he's worth that - but I wouldn't do it ... he's steady enough for $1.5M but I wanna bring my other Dmen along ... Toby passed the point when keeping him wasn't worth keeping others from developing their game on the roster
I truly believe we are at a point right now - 10.30am Tuesday morning - that the back-up goalie is Brossoit (declared, actually) ... one starting LHD is to be determined between Morrow and Chariot ... and the one forward position still a question mark goes to Vesalainen ... that's where we're at - to start the season
We all know this sh_t can change - and will change due to injuries, maybe poor play, etc

I had heard he was offered a very similar role by one or two teams ( non- competitive at slightly less salary than $1.5mm. Third pairing type stuff with limited ice time. I think Toby realized that a role like that also comes with lots of press box time to keep him somewhat fresh. Better call was for him to go to Sweden and the bigger ice surface where he has more room to maneuver. Family also a consideration. Just not worth staying on a non-contender for minimal dollars and role. He made the right decision. |

A: Toby had several NHL offers on the table, so you can stop your BS appeal to authority schtick.
B: Chiarot would clear waivers like a paper airplane through the grand canyon |

A You got to be on crack to think Toby had any offers. NO ONE WANTED HIM. Otherwise he'd still be playing here.
B any of our defencemen, Chairot, Morrow, Niku, Poolman, even Nogier would be picked up off waivers INSTANTLY. Get your head out of the sand dude. Toby's been a bum for the last 2 years. |

It was reported multiple times, from multiple sources. You’ve just elected to ignore it because it doesn’t fit your narrative, and because you likely haven’t figured out how to sign up for twitter |

A: It’s actually the fact that I do research and know what the hell im talking about that I say Enstrom had offers. Because it was reported multiple times. Google exists, dude, use it.
B: Well, Niku is now a star prospect, so no sh*t he’s a claim (hypothetically).
Poolman is a cheap NHLer, and only 25, so yeah.
Morrow has the first rounder advantage, but he’s been dangerously close to the waiver wire for a while now.
Chiarot has proved nothing, provides no measurable value, and is overpaid.
Nogier would be a claim because he’s 21. |

@PaulMaurice stop doing this, you foolish fool - Rexypoo
Maurice is so incredibly stupid. He keeps insisting on using the same players (except for Hendricks) that were in the top 1/3 of the league for penalty killing. |
