It's extremely difficult to make a team that has one of the best rosters in the NHL.

Isn't being a super-major hockey nerd the reason we're here?

P.S. Metric is boring

The best players on the 30 other NHL teams would have a tough time cracking the Yotes roster.....given it is one of the best.

The reason I come on Hockey Buzz ten times a day is cause I am a hockey nerd! Give me more analysis!

I think the only surprise was Steenbergen. Not that I thought he would make the team, but I thought he’d get to hang around longer than some of the guys still on the roster. Tells me that he’s a Conor Garland 2.0, with huge junior stays that don’t translate. Hope that’s an unfair assumption!!

Nothing too exciting on the list - definitely no major surprises. I'd type them out, but unless you're a super-major hockey nerd, you've never heard of any of them, and if you have heard of them, then you probably didn't need me to tell you about them in the first page.

Copy and paste would be too much to ask for?

Coach Rich Tocchet says Alex Galchenyuk has a lower-body injury and will be evaluated by medical personnel. No further update right now. Dylan Strome (upper body) is day to day.

Rick Tocchet added that they should know something more on Galchenyuk next week. Obviously, that would be a major blow if this is a longer-term injury

No, I asked earlier in the summer I asked to go back to the Coyotes because I actually cheer for them, and it's way more fun for me to write about a team I'd be interested in outside of hockeybuzz.

You ROOT for the Coyotes? Since you wrote that the injuries were the only thing holding them back last year, I thought you sounded like all the other hockey fan "experts" who didn't watch how coach Tocchet worked with that team to bring about the improvements that only got better as the injured players returned.

Watching that team evolve over 82 games was magical (after the first two months, of course LOL)

I was there (as in Philadelphia) for that O/T first win & I will be there 08November for Arizona's only visit to Philadelphia, confident that my 2nd team won't be looking for their 1st win against my 1st team a 2nd time. LOL
