One can never say never, but to sign him to the contract they did, make him the face of the franchise moving forward and then putting C on his jersey would make it absolutely moronic to trade him. Unless someone blows them away, and by that I mean a true 1C, plus at least 2 stud D prospects plus more, there is no way he is moving. It would also destroy the credibility Chayka has built back into the franchise since taking over from the Maloney clown regime... |

Chiarelli and Dorian aren't the GMS in Arizona.

Clearly Draisaitl will be an Islander. We have locked up 3 of the 6 German NHL players in Kuhnhackl, Greiss, and Seidenberg. We somehow let Grubauer get away, but I am sure they will trade for Draisaitl and then for the sake of my sanity move the team to Germany. |
