Anthony Travalgia: Bruins sign two to professional tryout agreements On Monday the Bruins announced that they have signed veteran forwards Lee Stempniak and Daniel Winnik to professional tryout agreements

Stempniak is one of those guys that has seen his fair share of travelling. Journeyman player. Kind of surprises me sometimes that these types of players, 30-40 point average over their career never found a little more stability. They aren't world beaters obviously, but still useful in a bottom six role.

I'll be stunned if Stempniak makes the team. He didn't look very good at all after coming back from his mystery injury last year.

Both guys are brought in just to fill out preseason roster spots.
