Heard Farabee and O’Brien didn’t hand back their signed permission slips to play in time.

Thanks Bill. Not sure if it’s happened yet, but last week you mentioned your podcasts would be available in the iTunes Store. are they available for download there yet?

Happy Birthday Adam Hall! Probably one of the last of the best 4th line centers this team has seen. Adam Hall, Blair Betts, Claude Lapointe, Kent Manderville, Jimmy Dowd.

Bill, how does it work with NCAA players and things like the Flyers summer development camp?

For example, who picks up the tab for the NCAA players' travel and such? Do the players pay their own way for that or is there some loop hole the NHL takes advantage of for this?

I’ve never encountered a road block. Speed bump sure, but not a road block. Sounds exciting.

I'd be surprised if this wasn't the case.

From my understanding, the players have to pay for everything, including travel, food, boarding, etc. If they went out to a restaurant with the other players, they'd have to get separate checks.

Having a major issue with it. There is an application process for Podcast Connect but I keep getting stuck in a log-in loop where I can't get to a menu to submit it for review. Not sure how to work around it. I've followed all the help suggestions that are available online.... it's apparently a common problem.

We also have uploaded to Soundcloud and have submitted to TuneIn and Stitcher (both have been approved).

I know I don't love the 8 pm starts.... makes for a long night at the arena. I typically don't get back from Wells Fargo Center until around 1 AM even for a 7 PM game. An 8 PM start pushes that back another hour, which can be rough when there's a practice to cover the next morning.

wasn't there a story that wayne simmonds was sleeping in his car at camps or something like that?

At his first camp with the Kings, he slept in his car in the parking lot because the friend he was staying with lived about an hour's drive from the rink and he was afraid of getting caught in LA traffic and being late. So he'd already be in the parking lot, catching a little nap. Dean Lombardi (usually the first one in the office each day) would pull into the lot and, from his office window, saw it was Simmonds.

Obviously I'd have to accept it either way, but I really hope they can come to a fair agreement and he stays.

The Mike Milbury rule applies here.

Any trade Mike Milbury is part of as a GM automatically gets filed under "bad trade for the team that employs Mike Milbury".

I shouldn't be surprised but tell me why one of the supposed Flyers beat writers from NBC Sports doesn't realize that Farabee and O'Brien are not eligible to play in the rookie game?

Development camp offered us the first glimpse of Jay Farabee and Jay O'Brien, the Flyers' two first-round picks this year, on the ice. The rookie game will be the first time we see them in an actual competitive situation.
