Krug is probably the 5th best defenseman on the Bruins.

After reading this list and seeing how many people were left out, its amzing how many great young dmen are in the game today.

Not much controversy here....all good choices

Hedman, Karlsson and Jones are unassailable. After that, you could go with any number of dudes: Hamilton, Werenski, Reilly, Ekblad, etc

Letang is easily 4 or 5. 5 on 5 he’s probably 3.

Hedman won the Vezina? I mean, I know the guy is good defensively, but I didn't know that he was THAT good.

Honestly, can't complain with any list

Glad Provy got some love since he doesn't get pp1 time to put up eye popping numbers

I don't get why everyone is saying Giroux when he played goal most of last year

As much as I like Ghost, Provorov is a ton better. Led the league in goal by a defenseman despite getting almost no PP time (15/17 goals at ES). Gets top defensive assignments, plays well over 20 minutes per game, and is the best puck mover on the blueline.

The only disagreement I have is Jake Gardiner as an honourable mention for Adam French. Come on, man.

Weber would be in there if he was healthy.

Well yes as people who watch the majority of flyers games it's easy to see that Provy is a better defenseman but Ghost puts up the points which elevates him in the minds of poeple who don't watch as many flyers games (not saying this isn't fair just the way it is). But ghost has really improved his D play too
