the Golden Knights (the worst named team in the history of professional sports; non-racist division)

Look up minor league baseball teams. Vlad JR made his AAA debut against the LeHigh Valley IronPigs. IronPigs! Golden Knights. Iron Pigs. WTF is an Iron Pig. I think I'm gonna do the research.

Article Monkeys may be excellent musicians and innovative, but music SUCKS! It sounds like a science experiment in a music store. You can keep them no thanks!

Your team has won one Stanley Cup in the last 78 years.

Are you really sure you want to be throwing mud around?

Uh....it's not

Tanner says they are the best bad around though.

His musical taste is no better than most of his opinions on any other subjects

Beats me, but I think Iron Pigs is a great name. An NHL team should steal it.

I've never heard of 1 or 3, but RAM by Daft Punk is pretty sweet. I don't think I'd rank it on the all time century list though, but I like it a lot.

Immersion by Pendulum? That one is pretty sweet but top 3 material? naaah.

Tranquility is an amazing album, really digging what the AM are doing over the years, not afraid to take steps in a different direction.

Just saw their concert at Jones Beach actually! I guess being a fan of Dave Grohl (one of best drummers in recent history) is too mainstream for you. Chad Smith from Chili Peppers played a few songs w/ them too! Amazing show.!!!!.

...saw them as well as Kenny Chesney, 311, Dave Matthews, Luke Bryan, Billy Joel and going to see Phil Collins in OCt

I

I like all "GOOD" music my man. In all genres

Best concert I've ever seen was Metallica w/ NY Philharmonic Symphony at MSG!
Never realized the great musicians they were until that show. AudioSlave is a close 2nd.

I have nothing against a band being mainstream. The Arctic Monkeys are super main stream, so is Kacey Musgrave......one of my all time fav bands is the Beach Boys...commercial success is not a factor in when I judge music.

The reason I hate the Foo Fighters is because they are not interesting. They are rock and or roll by the numbers, and they are about as artistic as Britney Spears (who i like 100x better than the Foo Fighters).

I absolutely hate boring radio rock for people who don't like music that much. You'll never find a hardcore music fan who ranks the Foo Fighters highly. There's nothing wrong with that - its cool to like what you like.

But personally, I am all about things that are interesting - however that manifests itself.

The Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Phil Collins, Kenny Chesny and Bill Joel. I consider that the worst lineup I've ever heard of. Its boring music for boring people. Just my opinion.

Sure buddy...EVERYONE knows who the Artic Monkeys are

I bet the ARtic Monkeys aren't on the radio b/c they don't want to be, and would hate millions of more people to hear them...

I guess Im not the wild and crazy guy you are Tanner

You don't want to know what I think of people who say "super" to make their point.

You are such a clown.

I agree!

God forbid I like going to concerts and spend time w/ wife and friends and listen to music we've heard/loved for 10, 20, 30 years and like to sing along.

Tanner just likes music that most people have never heard of and says things like "they are the best band in this century" simply to be different, and make him feel like he knows more about music than others.

I never said bands I like are the best ever, but then again, I'm not Tanner

Word play. Pig Iron is in a part of steel production. Common in PA. Refined U.S. process, from centuries-old European practice. It helped make U.S. steel the world's strongest for decades.

Less impurities (like Carbon, which is prevalent in Iron) makes steel stronger than Iron. Large impurities in Iron rivets helped contribute to the Titanic & Olympic sinking 100+ yrs ago.

I really like these teams nick names which refer to their region's heritage.

Took my kids to see them at Wrigley. Not my favourite, but still a damn good show.

"You'll never find a hardcore music fan who ranks the Foo Fighters highly"

Asinine statement and another opinion stated as fact.

You also misspoke when you said personally, I am all about things that are interesting.

You should've said "personally I am all about things that I FIND interesting.

Which bands are good and which are the best is subjective. I personally don't like most of the music that you post but that's just an opinion. Personally I think R.E.M. is horrendous but some like them. To each their own.

I'm still shocked that neither the Lightning nor the wannaGolden Knights got it done. ... so save the "History of failure" on harddisk and simply ignore '18...

The guy talks about music like a 10yr old, someday when he grows up and matures he’ll reread this trash and be embarrassed.
