Not that I agree with anything that's been said so far, but didn't the Oilers have the worst PK in history since tracking PK stats? Or was that at home? It was like 50% or something. I wouldn't use playing on the Oilers PK as an argument.

It was among the best road PKs and the worst home PK. In the last 25 games, it was the league's best. PK and PP results are driven far more by the system than the players running them (with rare exceptions) so using them as arguments for or against a single player is kinda a hopeless venture. Hence why a PP with the best even strength producer in the league can still be bottom-10.

Lovin the period stuff. If it means mcdavid is held back by his period in being 2nd to Crosby still it is very accurate. When his testes drop and sids pubes are more grey than black then he can be best. He ain’t there yet children.
