From previous blog, because we have the rest of the summer to discuss Kreider's Captaincy and the greatest Ranger team, but a good discussion of 80' TV is a worthwhile distraction:

Loved Night Court back then, but I saw an episode not too many years ago and it didn't stand up the way MASH or Cheers or WKRP do. WAY to corny. Some great mentions, though! Love TAXI, but I was too young to appreciate it at the time.
Buck Rogers & Greatest American Hero! lol. Air Wolf! At the same time the movie Blue Thunder came out. On the big ass VHS cassettes! Lots of advanced helicopters!!
How about The Fall Guy? One of the classic theme songs. Was that Heather Locklear or Heather Thomas?

I remember the day he was traded, TJ and I went to the game that night vs Vancouver.

Was very unhappy about deal, they also really to win that night and Poti wasn't able to make the game in time, and of course they lost.

Only Selleck could pull off a mustache, hairy chest and short shorts and still come across as a player.

Favorite show was MASH. Growing up in northern NJ, my cable system got TAF from Philly. On Mondays, watch the show five times a day. 6:30 on TAF, 7pm on channel 5, 9pm on channel 2, 11pm on channel 5 and 11:30 on TAF

Loved Night Court and Taxi as well. Greatest American Hero as well, which had Connie Sellecca, who moved on to Hotel. Buck Rodgers with Erin Gray who went to Silver Spoons, another good show in that era.

Fall Guy was Heather Thomas.

Night Court's set seemed cheesy even back then. One of the first pieces I learned on bass.
Can't go wrong with either Heather.

KHLs Shumakov hoping to land with the Rangers?

Aivis Kalnins: There is some belief that holdout Sergei Shumakov is hoping for CSKA to release him from his contract so that he could sign with the New York Rangers. The Rangers have shown an interest in signing him to an NHL contract.

Aivis Kalnins: As of yesterday Shumakov hadn’t reported to training camp and that CSKA is trying to trade him, but the asking price is high.

Alex Nunn: “Shumakov’s a no-brainer for rebuilding #NYR club w/ cap space really. It’s free scoring depth. Solid unit, soft hands, strong stride, good shot. He’s tough down low and cycles the puck well. Another right-hand winger.”

Growing up in West Jersey, I had Philly channels which ran MASH reruns for hours. Erin Gray was so hot on Buck Rogers.

Yes, Jan!!! All great shows, too!
I used to watch MASH about 5 times a day, too. My parent's always had it on. I still watch it sometimes if I see a channel playing it.
Magnum was great, too. I remember a couple a year or so ago I lambasted Tanner with a few golden one liners and one of you guys put up a gif of TC giggling that had me in stitches!
Simon & Simon was another one! And Hunter!!
