From the Columbus view, The best trade partner is Florida. They have the most NHL assets to spare (so to speak). |

Well, I can't see Columbus being able to convince him to stay. If Panarin wants the big city and also a place where he can showcase his extraordinary talents, then where better than to step into the vacated skates of John Tavares. NYI will allow him major exposure and the Isles certainly have a stable of good young talent to entice Columbus. It would be a win-win and like most other moves, Lou flies under the radar and can pull this off.
Having him on Barzal's side could be an amazing duo for years to come! |

I will keep Konecny. Really like that guys game, he has great wheels and gives 110% every shift. The skill I saw from him once he developed confidence, was super. I have high hopes for the kid. |

Brayden Schenn was supposed to be Richards 2.0. So Konecny would be 3.0 |

Pretty sure Langkow was Richards Beta 0.6, Ricci was Alpha 0.2, so that makes Konecny 12.7 update. |

I think Konecny is amazing but I would trade him straight up for Panarin in a heartbeat. Panarin is young and would need to be locked up for 5 plus years before I would do it. Whoever gets Panarin will be a much better team.

No worries here, Hextall is not smart enough to get this done. He still has Morgan Frost in the wings while Schenn is just hitting his prime after a point season in STL. |

Back to Chicago reunite kane and the breadman complement each other well. But wait until the offseason to sign him. He is going to free agency after this year to cash in so why would any team trade for him knowing that is what going to happen. |
