Forgot The Devils...I guess one would be stupid not to say Hall, but Coleman is pretty okay |

With Barzal, what the hell is going to happen to the poor bastard if indeed he is thèir #1 C? Yuuge responsibility for the 'kid'.......
Maybe they don't like Brassard to help with their top 6 C. |

The worst part about the capitals winning the cup, easily, is that we can't plaster all of the fantastic memes and make the same jokes as we've done for the last 13 years. |

I think Isles might surprise. As long as Barzal is ready to step up, they look to be a decent team.
Lee - Barzal - Eberle
Beauvillier - Komorov - Bailey
Ladd - Fillpula - Clutterbuck
Nelson - Cizikas- Kuhnhackl
Leddy - Boychuck
Hickey - Pulock
Pelech - Mayfield
Griess
Lehner
Lehner is an upgrade over Halak. Defence is questionable but forward wise I think they are fine. I think Barzal will outshine Tavares. He already kept pace with him in his rookie season. Beauvillier will need to step up and produce like a 2nd liner and it will be interesting to see how Komorov does in a much more substantial role than he played in Toronto and more ice time.

Still think Staal has egg on his face for running to Carolina to play with his brothers
Marc never went FA, and Eric got shipped off the first chance they got, Jared never made the show. He's been stuck as a loser ever since
Clamoring to be a top line player, he had better wingers when he was playing 3rd fiddle in Pittsburgh
I wouldn't change a thing, and If I was JR it's a door I would never stop knocking on seeing if he's available |

I think the Isles should tank for a season. They have some really really nice pieces & if they can add another top 3 pick look out.
Their goalie situation will be surprising if it can hold water. I'm not confident of that. New coach, new system, it will be a poop fight early for them. I'm hoping Barzal can continue as well, kid is a gun! |

Lehner is brought in to be the number one goalie, his to lose. Komarov is not top six, bottom six very weak and the D has not changed since last year and they were horrendous. No Tavares means Bailey and Lee return to earth. That is my opinion. |

Ehh, he won a cup then went to play 2nd line I don't think it was that bad of him. It's not like he said he went to Carolina for a better chance to win haha. We got Dumo out of it so it worked out for us. |

I think they will tank but not intentionally, lol. Barzal is too good not to continue being lights out but they will only be deadly on the power play. Trotz is the biggest addition because the D on paper is not bad but last year they were being blitzed. Load of question marks, feel sorry for them losing JT for nothing. |

At this stage a player like Brassard would be perfect, take some pressure off Barzal. I'm not sure what Komorov is capable of & if he goes the Trotz way of hockey he might be in the box more than on the ice.
The D isn't good. The team will struggle big time especially early. |

And than I wake up 4:20 am I don't know why just to read about how the Islanders will suck and how J.Staal made a horrible choice on his career going to a losing environment. Ouch.
PS. Brassard really would be a perfect choice for the Islanders.
Let's go Pens |

Pens shouldn't even think about trading Brassard.
That isles lineup is HORRIBLE!
I like all of the picks except Giroux. |

Also kind of got Bonino with that trade too after they were able to move Sutter. Staal is in my top 3 of all time favorite Pen's and I hated to see him refuse to sign but that trade worked out really well for the them it just took a few years. |

We recouped value on an asset we had no shot of keeping, but let’s not pretend Dumoulin and Bonino is anywhere close to as valuable as Staal. I think the traded ended up being fine for us but “really good” is a stretch. |

It would have been a lot better if Pouliot had been able to translate his game to the NHL level. People can argue about minutes and usage all they want, but he flat-out just didn't produce. |

You feel positive about that lineup?? My god, man....
Watch Lee fall off a cliff, now that JT isn't feeding him the puck. And Komarov on the second line??? For the sake of Isles fans everywhere, I hope not. His play declined significantly last year....still can't believe Lou signed him for FOUR more
