In a way it would of been interesting to see if the Sharks or Tampa fans would of gotten half the hate Leaf fans got for signing JT.I guess i already know the answer and their actually a bunch of (frank)ing jealous cry babies.They have been worse then Islander fans,so (frank) them.
I live a thousand miles away from my home town and if i could make two-thirds of the same money there i would of been gone home long ago.
Nobody seems to take any of that into consideration. |

Leafs don’t have very deep defensive core. So they trade one of their few Dmen to another team with cup aspirations?
More likely: leafs acquire a rental Dman in hopes of making a cup run. |

yup
we should cut them some slack...
like the good olde days when they were reasonable about stuff like the Luongo trade, overrating their players, continual and consistent trolling, ....
you know, the times when they should have shown some serious class - but it was not to be... what the Leafs fan base get... Laine is better than Matthews, months of SSpatso spew, endless drivel... and the ever popular, Leafs tanked on purpose and they were jealous that the Leafs tanked better than they could have.
No, No - now is definitely not the time to show classier side. Simply sit back and watch the bloodbath. Habs overpaid for RFA today.... but its the Leafs who will have CAP management issues - "no way they can keep the 3 kids" now that they have signed over the hill, worn out, slow skating John Tavares.
I love the downward spiral they are on (although the Canuckleheads at least have some light at the end of the tunnel)...
goofy ownership meddling in team and personnel, bad management decisions made for monetary reasons, just like the good olde Ballard days... but not quite as bad
