Great addition by Tre, exactly what flames have needed for a long time. Great $$ as well and I’m glad tre, didn’t give into 6-7 year deal. I agree that the last 2 could be uglyish but with cap raising and his style of play I think it will still look a hell of alot better than contracts like Brouwer / lucic etc.... little scared of Neal’s injury history but guy averages 27 goals per season even when he is playing 60ish games a season average.

Quick question Todd, any ideas why tre isn’t following suit and offering signing bonus heavy contracts? I know for ownership it hurts a bit more but give you a get out of jail free card when it comes to buyouts.

Future in Calgary is bright with Neal and Lindholm on the RW, and an upgraded bottom 6. Now let’s start looking at goalies as old man smith is almost 50 has one year left and not sure if rittich / gillies / Parsons are ready

With all the poopty deals been given out, this is decent. 20 goal scorer each of his 10 seasons. It's a year too long but whatever. This is bigger than JT to Toronto. Gives us so many options up front. I came.

Great signing. Good player, reasonable cap hit, and helps a lot with scoring. Term might be a bit long but it's far from unreasonable.

Tre did his job. We have so many options up front now and shored up both or Top 6 AND our Bottom 6. I like these moves a lot.

I agree this contract might look a little ugly when it ends but all in all I am pretty happy with the offseason so far.

RW is looking way better than last year.

We have a very expensive set of RW occupying 3/4, so it will be interesting to see what happens either this off-season or next. Brouwer and Frolik may not be on this roster come next year and I would be ok with that

Yeah with the Stars. Did anyone catch BT's interview yesterday? I understand he did talk about goaltending? Did he mention we were in the market?

After the changes made this off season the only glaring hole i think would be the goaltending.
