Ulf Samuelson SON fits this mold. Projected first round. Committed to Western Michigan collegiate. The best of Ulf Samuelson three sons

Btw
Another son finished season and playof strong. That son was a first round bust.....but showing good signs as power forward. They want to retain him on a Rockford contract. He is insurance in the muscle dot.

Other: I guess that.Justin and maybe no one saw enough if Tuulola to give an early line on his performance....he was added and stayed in playing lineup withoit North American experience.

That is Kjell's son.

Wise is a solid pick in the 3rd round. He needs work on his short area burst but that is correctable.

The #Blackhawks have traded picks 87 and 142 to Arizona in exchange for pick No. 74.

Both Wise and Nordgren are smallish, but picks with good potential. Not bad.

Reports on Wise say he is good at faceoffs, can play C or W, smart, good at puck support.

Nordgren reports make him out to be similar to Soderlund and Nilsson: small but relentless with offensive punch.

Hawks must have really coveted Nordgren if they traded 2 picks to move up and nab him.

That leaves the Hawks with 3 picks left: 4th, 6th, and 7th rounders.

Wise weighs 195LBS. That isn't smallish.

Wise was Wahlstrom's center at one point.

Do they see Nordgren as this year's ADB?

I like the last two picks. High motor guys who are bottom 6 fits. And a C who is good at the dot.

Boqvist great pick. With Beaudin obviously Hawks knew lots about Veleno and chose Beaudin - played on same team Drummondville’
- Z3Hawk

So I was looking through the Athletic guy that tracks Q/O/C games feed and he actually has put the info altogether the same way they do for the NHL. Beaudin is considered quite the playmaker and one of the best at zone exits and setting up shots in the trackers data set. Here is Beaudin's graph:

Only 8 games tracked so obvs small sample size but the selection for games is random and spread out so as to not track a hot or cold streak.

I'm going to be sad if Lindholm goes to Calgary tbh.

Draft is an ideal time to make trades. Stan needs to get on the horse and quick.

Well apparently Hanifin is involved too so this is a big blockbuster type of deal and it's unlikely the Hawks could have ever done that. Gotta be Hamilton going back and the Hawks don't have a defender of that quality.

Probably means they keep Faulk as well.

Decent picks for the future but no immediate help for next two years. Expect the team to be same as last year so baring any trades and very little to get excited about as the decline of the core continues. Sucks for Kane as he is still a viable star in this league.

Stan is really doing nothing to improve this team for next year.

We still need a goalie, a Top 4 D man, and center to win draws on a 2nd line.

Only #8 MAY have helped this season or next. Boqvist was the most talented player available with that pick, so I'm not going to lament that one. If they're going to put a competitive team on the ice, they have to do by way of FA and trades. I think that's been the plan all along.

Man, the UFA interview period hasn't even started, much less open for them to be signed. Most players drafted year in, year out aren't going to impact a team for 2+ years, so idk why so surprised. They do have more immediate help in their own prospect pool and they'll obviously be looking for trades/signings that can help.

Maybe wait to call them DOA until at least mid-summer.
