As for the team in transition, I hope Fenton is trying to find a way to get Nylander in a Wild sweater. Wondering if maybe a Eriksson-Ek/Spurgeon for Nylander deal would work. Then Granlund to Carolina for Faulk. I know, I sound like a broken record. And I am starting to wonder if there might even be a sign-n-trade deal with Zucker being worked on. I wouldn't like that idea. I think Zucker would take a slightly less than market deal if term was added on. And he has the skill that cannot be taught in speed.

I really don't see the Wild using their draft pick in a trade, unless it's to move up quite a ways. Even though the cupboards were bare when CF game here, he never really got to fill them up much as he would use all the draft picks in trades. So my guess is that Fenton will use their 1st Rd pick to hopefully take a chance on a shooter.

I think Bruce is a great coach, but change is alwags good. Go after trotz and pay him whatever he wants.
Trade Granlund / Let Kunin have some serious time. id unload Ericcson ek too.

Columbus is checking the market on Panarin, now wouldn't that be nice...

I agree with Gus, I also wouldn't mind seeing Fenton somehow acquire Nylander, maybe an and/or Kapanen as well.

Hahahaha....ummm, no. Wild are trying to get younger. Why would they trade away to young guys for an overly expensive player that would not put up the points he does now because of who he plays with and an old Dman. I know I live in a fantasy world with some of my ideas at times, but I try to be a little realistic.

And I see that Ek must be reading the posts in here, as he now lists Zucker as someone that Wild are peddling. Would really hate to lose his speed...but if Zucker can bring in a high quality C, that can eventually move into the 1C spot...I don't know, that speed is very important, but then it hasn't done anything for him in the playoffs. And that is the goal of the Wild now, to start winning in the playoffs.
