It would be funny if Edmonton trades the #10 pick and then are forced to watch as Evan Bouchard falls in the draft and is available with that pick.. - PatC80
Rumor: chiarelli offered the leafs the #10 OA for the #25 OA. Dubas is holding out for more. |

I hated how they handled the Luke character and how it ended for him.
Sounds to me like they really, really wanted to take the focus off of him because he's a character people like more than the 3-4 new "main characters".
It's not completely bad, but it's definetely in the bottom half of Star Wars movie. - Scabeh
How I rank the Star Wars Movies (best to worst)
1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Force Awakens
3. Return of the Jedi
4. The Last Jedi
5. Revenge of the Sith
6. A New Hope
7. Attack of the Clones
8. Phantom Menace
I thought Rogue One was well done, I haven't seen Solo yet. |

He is wrong.
The original movies hold up very well. Still a classic that was way ahead of its time.
Now, the 3 star wars movies that were made in the early 2000's were complete garbage.
The recent new ones are pretty sweet as well, although I have not seen Solo yet. - Fakepartofme

Cam Fowler falling was pretty epic. Tarasenko as well. Always seems to be one. - AdamFrench
In hindsight, a lot of mistakes in that 2010 draft; The Leafs were smart, they made sure not to make a big mistake in the 1st rd by trading away that pick.
Can't make a mistake if you don't take a test.. |

Hishon's a shame. Injuries destroyed him. McIlrath is still one of the worst picks ever. Not just because he became a bust, it's that he wasn't even close to being regarded as a top-10 pick. |

-- Mike G. Morreale
If not for hip and groin injuries that limited him much of the season, Central Scouting's third-rated prospect, right wing Brett Connolly of the Western Hockey League's Prince George Cougars, might have been in the Seguin-Hall conversation for the No. 1 spot. Still, despite playing only 16 games this season he had 10 goals and 19 points and went from fourth on January's midterm report to third on the final list.
"I think it would have been really interesting if he'd been healthy all year," B.J. MacDonald, one Central Scouting's WHL scouts, said. "Clearly from the start of the year, the top three guys (Seguin, Hall and Connolly) were sort of identified even before the season started. I saw (Connolly) seven times during the year and I'm happy where he ended up (at No. 3). I think a lot of teams might still have a lot of question marks about him because any time a player is out that long, they're going to wonder if the injury will linger or not. But when he came back before the end of the season, he still dominated play and elevated the play of his teammates. He will be an impact player."

Habs traded their own first and a 2nd to grab Tinordi too.
But to be fair, there were big rumors of Kuznetsov wanting to stay in the KHL in his draft year.... And he did for a few years.... Washington having Ovechkin made them confident he'd come over.
Otherwise Kuznetsov would have been picked much earlier. |

How could you possible label him with the limited amount of NHL games he played?
Like, the flow chart on evaluating goalie prospects goes something like, "is player a goalie? Yes/No. Yes? Roll dice. Goalies are an enigma wrapped in a riddle wrapped in a suit of armour".
17 games played on a last place team and you don't think he's an NHL goalie. - gravyface
You just gotta remember that he's the worst judge of goalies there is. |

Han, Luke, Leia and Chewey are in a corridor on the Deathstar, shooting their lazerguns at a bunch of stormtroopers who are about 20 feet away - same corridor.
They are trapped. It doesn't look good.
So Leia shoots out a grate in the hallway, and they all jump in, landing in a garbage compactor. They then spend the next 10 minutes trying to escape the trash compactor, before R2 D2 lets them out.
What the frank were the stormtroopers doing during those 10 minutes?
They couldn't figure out that the rebels have disappeared, and there's a hole in the grate right next to where they were shooting from 2 minutes earlier? |

Pretty sure thing he will be gone by pick #15, who knows. I think that one of Merkley. Kravtsov or Denisenko will be available. There will be plenty of interesting d-men available in the 2nd round in this draft.
