No games. Wilson looks back and sets himself up. Stralman does jump into the hit, but does not hit Wilson's head, and Wilson's head doesn't hit the glass at all. He totally sold that. When they show the replay from the crowd side, you can clearly see no contact by the player or the glass to Wilson's head. Stralman should have been given a charging or boarding penalty. - steve_o66
I agree. |

There is no such thing as a dirty hit on Tom Wilson. Stralman is living by the golden rule, treat others how they treat others.
Montreal should def trade the best defenceman of this generation for an overpaid average 1C. - eNDSo
so you are saying Jeff Petry for Toews and their 1st? |

tampa - johnson
sj - shouldn't
nash - gets a little dicey - Tumbleweed
Johnson for sure but any team thinking they have a shot at JT may be reluctant to take on any salary before July
And SJ would most likely have to trade Hertl's rights for picks
Nashville is extremely dicey but not impossible, if you're gonna move pieces around to fit someone in, JT is the type of player you do it for |

I think St. Louis has a great chance for Tavares too. Excellent club. Traded their #1 C RANDOMLY at the deadline to clear cap space and the position to pitch for JT - buddzy

Why the talk only about Stralman without a question about Kuznetsov for chopping his stick at Stralmans head, making contact with his neck? If Stralman should be suspended so should swinging your stick at someone, just a thought. |

Lest we forget, Bergevin traded for Shea Weber, with his $7.8 mil/yr till he's 40.
I can absolutely see him doing something ridiculous like Gallagher & the #3 for Toews & Nashville's 1st, because #leadership. - usmcaaron
Bergeron has no worries about that contract. Weber will retire early, and the cap recapture penalty goes to Nashville, not the Habs. |

I love how 99% of fans are saying the hit was dirty and suspend-able.
All Butthurt Pens fans are saying clean hit.
Not making fun of anyone but I just think it's interesting... Kind of shows a ton of bias |

On one hand, it was a questionable hit from a clean player... but... I could even see a 1 game suspension here. I don't 100% think it's in that ballpark, but I wouldn't be entirely outraged if it happened.
On the other hand, LULZ, Tom Wilson whining like a toddler over "dirty play" is amazing. |

You are hearing the Sharks broke the NHL rules and are engaged with the Tavares camp before they are legally allowed? - Symba007
Leakers and Fake News. The NHL is now truly an American sport.
I think you just blew this rumour right up. Good for you. |

Interesting listening to Rishaug speculating that the Oilers will go hard for a big name D; suggested Klefbom + 10 for Risto as an example.

Bunch of idiots. It’s one thing to say you don’t think it was a bad hit. Another to say you wish it would have injured a guy. |

So...you're supposed to be a fan(which automatically makes you irrational) of a team and not be biased in anyway. Is this how Ottawa does it? Kinda losery. |

Not at all, If an Ottawa player gave a dirty hit like that, I'd be the first one to say he should be suspended.
There is such thing as being a fan of a team and supporting your players and another completely to have bias. Key is to stick with facts and that facts are in the Stralman hit, he hit from behind, left his feet and targeted the head... it's suspendable |
