seems like a legit price for chia to pay for a PP specialist that can't play defence. - Tumbleweed
that, or he overvalues RHD and undervalues LHD. |

if we sign tavares, somebody up front will need to go.
hamilton is good value on his deal too. - Tumbleweed
Kapanen, Brown, picks, etc. Not Kadri. Would be a bad move, and he is one of the only Leaf players who has some grit too.
Also, Kadri said he'd love to be a part of recruiting Tavares to Toronto |

sounds like they will be shopping him. i don't get it. multiple maybes is what you get, pretty standard package.
straight up it's kadri for hamilton. works on our side if the leafs sign tavares. - Tumbleweed
the Leafs are already a team of pussies and you want to pussify them even more by trading away Kadri. |

Sorry, you never give Kadri up unless its for an all star level player. His contract is way too valuable, you wouldnt be able to replace him. His type of contract is what allows teams to stay competitive. - Archaic
I like Kadri - good player, excellent contract. On the negative side - I hate his suspension and how it hurt the Leafs this year. If this was an isolated incident ok, but no one can say that is true. Good Students/Managers make mistakes - once!!!!! then they learn and don't repeat them. I would keep Kadri for sure, if (and its a big if) JT lands in TO, moving a forward for a really good, big, RHD would be an excellent move. It is not going to be Matthews, it is unlikely to be Marner, the only other logical candidates would be Nylander or Kadri. Since Nylander can play centre, it would be up to the situation which would get it done. Basically a pipe-dream at this point though.

Would be a fair trade, the big if is JT. We know that Burkie loves his belligerent dirty players - throw in Martin. - winsix
Umm didn't Burke get fired? |

Klefbom and the #10 pick for Ristolainen?
Risto is younger, but that is a steep price to pay... - PatC80
Id rather have Klefbom straight up |

Kadri is a natural diver, he needs to go where he will fit in right away. MTL or Van |

You can sign stop gaps while we wait for bigger fish later, and our prospects to get ready.
Hamhuis, Enstrom, Johnson, etc. Not amazing, but more depth.
We could also trade forward prospects for D prospects that are stuck at the AHL level for teams. |

I like Ristolainen and think he would do well as a Maple Leaf, but Klefbom and the 10th pick is a lot..
That's gonna suck cause Buffalo will have two picks in the top 10. |

Nope. The bum got out his 5th time up. Can't call him up to the bigs until he goes 5 for 5.
He also stole a base. |

What’s the reasoning on them not calling him up? Just burning a year on his contract? |

I’m hoping Dubas and chakya(sp) can work something out hjmalarsson. That would be a good stop gap and he is a lot better then a hainsey. |

Blue Jays prospect Vlad Guerrero Jr. has more 3-hit games this season than 0-hit games:
3-Hit Games - 6
2-Hit Games - 13
1-Hit Games - 11
0-Hit Games - 4
That's (frank)ing insane. |

Only so many minutes to go around.
If we sign tavares, him and matthews get 18-19 a night.
4c gets 10.
Leaves 12-14 for kadri.
I would prefer hamilton playing 22 vs. Kadri playing 12-14. |
