I have a feeling that as this series goes on, the league is going to start calling piddly penalties against the Jets just to give Nashville a chance. |

Lots of ugly jerseys getting up off the ice tonight, Hahaha |

Funny how PK isn't taking those liberties he usually does against smaller teams |

Love to see him on the ice when the opposition scores........
Pekka should worry more about stopping pucks than acting. Crow has got to be beside himself. Rinne barely gets touched and it is goalie interference, and Crow gets beaten up multiple times a game, and play on!. WTF! |

Looks like they called icing even though it wasn't. That kept the puck in the Peg zone. Very lazy calll by the linesman. |

Fabulous, the Preds will have to at least take 4 more games of abuse, sweet, nice win by the Jets |
|
|
|
Josi skating with the puck looks up sees Buff and instantly turns the puck over, too funny |
|
|
|
It's only game 1 and Fisher can barely get off the ice in the 3rd period, he's got to be sore the abuse he took in front of the net |

In the corner of the locker room in a prone position. |

Where was Hartman? - BetweenTheDots
I think that he's been a healthy scratch for two games now.
If the Preds lose this series, than the pick that we received from them will be 27th? |

>>>This was evident as they are supporting each other all over the ice and look in sync for the majority of the game. This was an element severely missing from the Blackhawks play this year. Whether it’s buy-in by the players or a systematic, the Hawks need to get on the same page from day 1. Would be great to have the Hawks young players getthe same speech about how they can start to take on a bigger role.<<<
besides the vets having down years...this is the biggest issue i have seen with this team over the last 2 years: lousy team game, players being moved up and down the lines and trying ti fill spots they should not be asked to fill, no structure offensively or defensively, the players don't know their roles...
stanbow needs to improve the blueline; can't start the season with the guys they singed now...
watching some of these playoff games...its now obvious the 4-0 sweep by the preds was no fluke...there is no way the hawks can compete with any of these team in the top eight... or maybe even the teams that lost... |

I think Keith has done some babysitting in his day.
I recall youngsters like Leddy and Olsen getting paired with Keith.
He also got a fair amount of minutes with, Rundblad, TVR, Rozsival. I think it speaks a lot more to the lack of depth if Keith is getting stuck with a weak partner. His pair usually gets the majority of the tough assignments, where Seabrook has had much more sheltered minutes while babysitting IMO. - breadbag
Gotta disagree completely. Hammer protected Keith for years. Prior to that Seebs protected Keith. Seebs has babysat everyone and anyone lately with absolutely no sheltering. |

I really can't stand the Nashville organization and fans. Everything they do is ridiculous. From the goal song, to the goalie taunting chant, to preventing opposing fans from buying tickets, to throwing the stupid catfish on the ice...classless. It's really too bad, because Nashville is a cool city, they have a helluva team, and since I only live two hours away, I go to 6 or 7 games a year (Sunday will be my 6th this year). I'd go to a lot more if I could stand the organization itself. - tvetter
Totally agree tv. I'm in Austin tonight and I see a cat with a musturd tiger tshirt on. I called him out on the bush league tactics. When i brought up the goalie chant he said it was great and couldn't understand how it was bush league. I mentioned the empty net goal they scored in that Colorado game, and they did the goalie chant..............well, he just walked away on that. Anyone but Nashville! |

Further, Crow got knocked out for half the year by Malkin, but no penalty.

Helly had a very good game. He only had to play half the ice, Josi whiffed on a wide open net, Forsberg missed a wide open net got all goal post, so Helly had some luck last night. |

Goalies playing well get lucky.
Goalies playing poorly have pucks bounce off three posts and their own backs - and in the net. |
