Not one person here is in the room or knows how players do or do not react to what JT says or does as captain of this team. Wow watching on TV and from the stands does not give you perspective into the thought process vs the production of the players in that regard. You can dislike the results, you can call for the coaches and the GMs heads based on results and failed moves, but when you think you are that clairvoyant, then it really is time to get some help!

This is my last post on the subject. We can dislike the results of Garth and Doug and we cannot dislike the results of JT as captain? JT's own coach and buddy Weight said he has to improve his leadership skills. That is not speculation that is the head coach who is in the room speaking. For Weight to say something like this about a vet let alone JT is big. Some of us need to take the rose colored glasses off and players even JT have to take some blame with what has gone on and it cannot be just Garth and Doug and the players get a complete pass.

Their isn’t a player in the room that can’t take blame on the shatty season. That said it doesn’t mean that JTs a bad Cpt. If they get a new coach GM etc. and go on to win the Cup ( still praying ) does That mean he’s a great Cpt?
At the end of the day it takes a team to win it. Not a great Cpt.

Btw Doug Weight needs to do a hell of a lot more improving on being a leader / coach before he utters a word about JT

I am certainly not letting any player off the hook including JT, it is a team effort. My point was simple nobody here can judge if he is a good captain or not, and also Weight's statement and its intention could have been to spur his players on in defense of their captain, or could have been for JT himself, once again you need to be in the room on a day to day basis, nobody here is that. Everyone can have an opinion, lord knows I have mine, but don't try to sell opinion as knowledge that you can't possibly have was my point to many posters in this group.

Now what if someone goes to players or a player’s house, (let’s say Siedenberg for instance) and He drops some nuggets? I would say then and only then, are you stating 100% facts. I know this because, on here, it’s been done.

if its the trip on couturier, well its a slippery slope. Based off the new rule change, it shouldn't be penalty. but i wouldnt have minded if his ass went to the sin bin.
