I'm constantly amazed by how awfully slow Rocky I now seems.

You always remember it as an action film - but holy frank, when you sit down and actually watch it, scenes just crawl along.

Definitely one of those movies that you are better off not watching again - just stick with your happy memories.

Kinda like when I went to the Haunted House at Disney a few years ago - totally ruined my childhood memories of it.

I didn't hate Rocky Balboa - although it really did feel more like a tribute to the first four movies than an actual sequel.

Rocky I would have been a terrible film without the soundtrack of Bill Conti. He made that film. The Philadelphia Morning song/scene is fantastic - as is Gonna Fly Now.

But for me, Rocky III is the one you want to throw on when the family has gone to bed and you still have a beer or two to finish.

When We Were Kings is excellent - but a documentary, so maybe it doesn't count.

Hands of Stone was also very good.

Also Warrior is good (but it's MMA)

But when it comes to sports movies in general. I'd have to say Football movies are the best out of any sport. And I don't even like Football..
