It's only one game, but when they flipped the switch they apparently executed the Flyers. Kind of reminded me of that scene from The Green Mile when the guard didn't wet the sponge.

It's a great start no doubt but the score or how they played doesn't mean much next game other than being embarrassed like that will probably put more gasoline on the Flyers fire. I didn't want any more scoring after it was 5-0.

Obviously every team in the playoffs wants to win every game but usually their realistic goal starting on the road is to spilt. Hopefully Pens prevent that.

The only disturbing thing about last nights game to me is that the Pens can blow out the Flyers in the most insignificant game in the playoffs and the game can just still fizzle out. Rivalries are officially on there way out of the nhl. Besides that the Pens looked great and I love watching the Flyers fail.

I almost started to feel bad for the Flyers and then I realized it was the Flyers.
I thought it was encouraging that they never took their foot off of the gas. I don't think they were trying to embarrass them by any means, I think it was more of them being ready and they came to play.
