just saw the western conference...Winnipeg and Nashville have the 2 best records in the conference by a decent amount, but play in the same division...one of them guaranteed to be gone by second round...should really be a potential western conference final

Yep...i had brought up the east earlier and it's bad too...from a league standings standpoint , 3 of the top 6 teams in the league are guaranteed to be gone by end of second round...unfair to the teams and fan base. Doesn't reward busting your ass for 6 months...

1 vs 8 etc in each conference...has to change but NHL known for their stubbornness and lack of common sense.

Bring back the old playoff format ...
