Lucic doesn't "suck". He can still play physically and put a decent amount of points up. But that doesn't justify his 6 million contract for the next 6 years.

I'd sit him in the press box the rest of the season and tell him if he wants to be a NHL player come back next season motivated and 20 pounds lighter. Biggest play he has made lately is wiping out McDavid...

Lucic doesn't suck? No points in his last 13 games no goals in his last 24 games while consistently getting 18 mins a night and powerplay time. 6 million a year for another 5 years. He is not even playing physical because he cannot catch anyone. That contract will be one of the worst of all time.

If this team gave ice time by merit instead of by contract, Lucic would be a 4th liner right now.
