It's not like Rinaldo had time to consider who he was engaging. He hurt MacKinnon, and assumed someone on Avs would actually stand up for their teammate. He was wrong. He deserves his long incoming suspension for punching before even seeing if the person was actually going to go, but I don't think you can fault him for who the player he punched was, it happened really fast. |
