Maybe I'm confusing them. The 32 rink is the one with really nowhere to sit except in one end where there a few bleachers? That is the one that had the curling circles
- Vukota

The USA rink had concrete raised stands similar to The Rinx. Broadside to the rink, only on the side across from behind the benches. I don't remember a lot about the '32 arena, other than it was cold as (frank) and I loved the ice on that rink.

edit:

32 Rink

USA Rink (terrible picture but I can't find much)

Good for him! However, tying a record with Blake Comeau, Jeff Tambellini, Greg Mauldin and Ryan Strome doesn't bode well. That's not exactly impressive company.

Would probably be a good fourth line wing. If only there wasn't an overpaid, useless, mustachioed plug standing in his way.

Yes, you can tell it is the USA Rink because I very clearly labeled it "USA Rink"

He got some pretty lengthy coverage in the article I just posted above, also.

This guy, though? Not so much:

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Once de Haan walks after this season, there are exactly two (2) defenseman that are guaranteed to have full-time roles next year. There is going to be some turmoil on the blueline between now and the beginning of next season.

I agree but with Garths thinking I don't know. I still think they are a couple of years away or next year towards the end of the year

That's possible, if they need the time. But I'm pretty comfortable saying that this is not the previous coach's Islanders anymore. There are four rookies getting varying degrees of significant ice-time right now. If Aho and/or Toews are ready to play, I think they're going to play.

20 year old overager playing in a lower-tier junior league and all he can muster up is a single point in 17 games

That was definitely Charles Wang meddling in the draft and demanding we piss away a pick (no matter how late in the draft it was) on him I love that they took him in the 6th round, as if anyone was going to jump on him before the 7th round
