argue with him? if you posted his rantings chronologically, it would seem like he was arguing with himself with all of his contradictions, 180 degree opinion changes and hypocrisy.

most of the time he's arguing with himself but doesn't realize or acknowledge it.

(i know you read this - hi vantel!)

Take it easy bud, you don't see me getting a ban or starting racist conversations.
I'll talk hockey if someone wants to talk, lately hasn't been much on here to talk about hockey wise.

It's stunning how many fans refuse to see what a hopeless retard Benning is.

A hopeless retard that has assembeld a pretty decent young core. Replace him after the next draft and we will be winning cups within two years

2 contributing players per draft is the usual bench mark. So 5 drafts:

Boeser
EP
Virt
Demko
Hughes
Juolevi
Madden
Gaudette
McCann/ forsling (traded but still players)

These guys are contributing or virtual locks (I consider madden a lock).

Then there are lots of ? Marks: tryamkin, Dipietro, Lind, Gadjovich, macCewen (not drafted), Lockwood, Rathbone, Woo

Not exceptional but pretty solid imo.

Edit: they really (frank)ed up 2016 😡

I think Demko was Gillis.
Virtanen, we'll see.
Hughes, Juolevi & Madden have not made it to the NHL yet.
Gaudette, we'll see.
McCann & Forsling are fringe players moving from team to team.
The rest of the list is not worthy wasting my time on as they are either trash or years away.

Demko is Benning. Virtanen has amost reached the 200 game benchmark. Yes, some of them haven’t made it yet. Only top 10 pics usually make the NHL within a few years of their drAft. We won’t know for a few years after Benning is fired

Anyways, no response necessary, looks like you are busy w Neem

too bad there's way more to gm'ing than drafting

especially considering that gm's don't even have a lot of say at the draft table once you get pass the top 30 or 40 of a draft board.

Pretty important part of gm’ing for a rebuilding team. And even if gms aren’t directly involved in the later picks, they are responsible for putting the infrastructure in place that is.

Gillis was good at a lot of the behind the scenes stuff, unlike Benning, poor at dealing with other gms(Benning isn’t great either, but probably better than Gillis) and an absolute train wreck at the draft, unlike Benning.

Sometimes sacrifices need to be made. One game for a 6th round pick. Meh

since benning posts in carol's thread all day and all night, it only makes sense that the media would have hockeybuzz bookmarked!

I'm guessing the radio guys do read CDC, Reddit, HF once in awhile just to find out what topics are being debated, but HB is definitely a tier below those sites lol. There's like 20 regular posters on Carol's blogs compared to 100+ at HF. I don't post on Reddit or CDC, but I assume they have way more regular posters than HB. CDC is where I started and they definitely had 100+ regular posters back then.

I bet most of the radio guys just know HB as Eklund's rumour site and that's it lol, it's definitely not known for it's hockey talk and I'm pretty sure it's comment counts are declining with each passing year
