Hes got speed and makes things happen I prefer we keep him
- Upstate_isles

I’m not saying trade him by any means unless he’s part of a package for a real good player. Let the record state I’m not the one that said to trade him to begin with😂

Yup he was all over the place last night but I think that’s part of his problem.
- Cptmjl

Agreed.. but when Trotz told him that he needs to work on his "wall game" more you can see he took it to heart. He just seems like he is VERY engaged with the coaches when on the bench too. I think if we let him go we will regret it. In retro I guess we should have send him back to juniors with Barzal instead of keeping him up here.. certainly did not help his development.

Don’t get me wrong I like Beau I think he’s a decent player that can be an even better player he just needs to work on his game which is ok he’s young. Yeah maybe another year of developing would have done him good.

That’s kind of how I’m looking at him now. He could be something more I think but that’s what he looks like at this point. He’s not doing anything horribly wrong he just seems to be doing to much which usually amounts to nothing 😂

Yea but he actually hits and can forecheck and has a good shot so I think thats where he slots in eventually but thats me. Also his bromance with barzal helps

So he is the complete opposite of Bailey?

So would I. But if the right guy was available in a trade, and it made sense, I wouldn't think twice about including Beauvillier.

I think Beau is better than that. Plus Wahlstrom is a RW.

I see him as an eventual maybe 2nd line winger or great third liner. With that said he’s scoring I just think he can be better. He needs to find some consistency. Some players do some don’t.

I hated that whole team. Including 99 who was flopping around like a jacka$$. Glen Anderson who constantly ran Billy Smith, Messier, MacTavish, Coffee, etc. They were always running Bossy. .... The thing that irked me the most though was how everyone treated the Isles run. They hated that a team from Long Island winning these cups. They changed the friggin rules in 84 which if you ask anyone on that Isles team they will tell u it's one of the main reasons they lost. They forever before and after had done the series 2 games home, 2 away and then 1, 1, 1... this was only year they did 2 home and 3 away. Isles very rarely lost at home (hence "fort Never lose"), but they lost game 1 1-0 and never got the chance to play there again to steal momentum back.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pncY9l35QnI Then the Oilers won 5 cups in 7 years. They were crowned the team of the 80's... eff them. .. I still hate em... always will too.

- niteislander

Hated the Oilers back then , now not so much. Put Bruins, Devils, Capitals at least , ahead of them on hate list now, along with those other 4

Josh Ho-Sang is 0-4-4 in 7 games since being sent down with ONE shot on goal. And he's been held scoreless in 5 of the 7 games.

This is very not good, everyone.

Up until this point I was pretty convinced that Ho Sang was just taking awhile to acclimate to the new system, but I think his time here is winding down. It's not working. Problem is that he has little-to-no trade value. He may be stuck toiling in the minors for quite awhile.

He only has 3 goals this year??

Between the NHL and AHL yes. Only 2 at the AHL level.

He also has quite the EP profile picture

Unfortunately he’s under contract with the NYI, so doubtful. Good thought though...

You don't think Malkin wouldn't let Snow out of that contract in a hot second?

He is gonna have back to back 20 goal seasons before he turns 22. He is developing fine.

Back in the day I hated the Oilers. Looking back now, it's cool that the Isles dynasty was only taken down by the next dynasty, rather than losing to some fluke team like the hockey equivalent of Tyson being KO'd by Buster Douglas. And even cooler that the Isles won the first Stanley Cup meeting between the two before passing the torch.

Plus, the Oilers are kind of like Islanders West...an absolute powerhouse when I was a kid that became a mismanaged mess and a tough destination to attract players to. Too much in common for me to hate them now. Hell, I hope one day the Isles can get back to the Stanley Cup finals and play against Edmonton...I'd be happy to hate them again then

He'd be fine as a first line winger if there was a legit major second threat on right wing. Beau using his speed, forechecking, and scoring 20+ goals a year would be a really good third forward for that line.

I think I said before I'd like to keep one of Bailey and Eberle (I'd prefer Eberle, but he's an FA and Bailey is under contract...) and try to upgrade the other top-six RW.
