it woul be JHS thats is ready for Eberles spot. Eberle isnt being resigned. Trade him.
Nelson definitely showing he belongs.

Also Casey Cizikas is our 3rd line center. Not sure why his line keeps being referenced as 4th line when they play 2nd/3rd line mins. Filipula line is the 4th line.

Im enjoying Toronto losing to teams that matter. And i want JT to feel like he has to do more and more to help them. Sound familiar, Keep trying to do it all yourself JT.

- Spartiarti

Honestly in todays NHL the 3rd and 4th line are just the bottom 6. The days of the cement head 4th line enforcers is gone. The CCM line and F,K,MDC are out there to keep the other team from scoring and bring some energy and change momentum. If you want to be successful you need to role 4 lines and they all need to be able to play.

I would have a tough time turning down a 1 for Eberle and especially since he is no playoff warrior.

If someone offers a 1st for Eberle, you take that pick and (frank)ing run.

Yes hes a legit shut down guy. Isles arent near the bolts but other teams they are close to at this point. Make the playoffs show ufas (duchene panarin) this team is on the way up with great prospects and new arena great coach and they just may come here. Oh and we have cap space to get it done as well

How great would it be if Duchene signed here and we won a cup.

It would be a slap in the face to JT saying we should have drafted Duchene rather than Pajama Putz.

Whatever you say...…..I can tell you that when Wahlstrom was drafted, that day, I got a text saying he was going to Boston because the schedule was easier. Free college is going to mean nothing to a kid who's making 5+ shmill a year. Trust me Cape Breton wanted him on their roster, and still do...….it aint happenin. You gotta realize also, playing for Cape Breton you're taking brutal bus rides, which he's now side stepped playin in boston.

Sidenote : unless you have your masters nowadays, having just a college degree is pretty much useless.

Another foolish opinion by your Coach buddy. You think the schedule in NCAA hockey is "easier" than playing in junior hockey. So playing against 22 year olds is harder than playing against 18 year olds?

Kinda odd that kids that leave college hockey do so well in juniors.. huh?

Neither schedules are "easy" ..not trying to degrade junior hockey. your buddy's opinion of college hockey is dumb though.

Yep!

I’ll live with playing JHS the rest of the way if needed.

Well looks like there might be some truth to the Ho-Sang rumors on being late. Take a listen at the 25 minute mark

Boston needs a 2RW badly, and they once ponied up a 1st for a declining Nash. Makes you wonder.

I cant even believe this is still a discussion. You win...

Pretty sure in college you play 1/3 of the games you would in junior.....not to mention the 1/3 less 15 hour bus rides

From what ive been told, if the 25 or so games vs 60+ games isn't the difference maker, im sure the talent level of females is slightly greater in boston vs Cape Breton

Ive always thought it was difficult for these guys coming out of a period to be asked questions by a female who really doesn't know hockey. I often wondered what those players were really thinking. Most of them have to be like "I mean I guess I would...."
