Well, if Lee can’t play you may see HoSang in the top 6. I hope Lee plays and JHS shows he belongs.

Should be interesting.

I think this league is a young player and speed game now so I'd like to see Ho Sang get a real shot here. Lou and Barry know more hockey than I can know in 100 lifetimes but I get Garth, Cappy, and Doug flashbacks if I see young talent not getting a real shot. This is a Cap world and you better be able to develop your own players.

Was it that obvious?

I'm thrilled Lou and Barry are running things but I'm not automatically going to agree with everything they do because they are not Garth and Cappy.

Nelson is the easy answer but who knows maybe Barzal and Ho Sang would work. I know the sensible answer is no because they both pass when they should shoot and hang on to the puck way to long but maybe they find some kind of chemistry and it works.

Have to try to pump some life into our top 6 while giving the kid a shot imo and that’s coming from someone who isn’t exactly a big fan of his. I just don’t see the point of calling these kids up and playing them for five mins a game with the Stephen Gionta’s of the world. I’ll disagree with the whole “the kid has to earn his ice time” crowd to an extent. There’s some truth to that of course but I think we’ve seen the extreme with MDC (not saying the kids a stud before someone has some stereotypical response) and prospects with the last regime.

Give them a legit shot if they flop then you know where you stand and whether they’ll contribute in the future to the team and plan accordingly. I’m not just saying one game either or even two. If you think they’re good enough to call up give them at least a few games to adjust. We need some of these kids to start working out and not become over agers in the AHL. Khunackl, Johnston (even with his four year contract), Gionta, and Sbisa are not this teams future and if they are we have even bigger problems. Seems elementary to me just my opinion.

Jesus this become long winded sorry😂

Not unless they change the rules to allow 2 pucks on the ice simultaneously.

Their skills are redundant, not complementary. Even on the PP, I'd rather see them separated, so each unit has someone to skate the puck into the zone.

Before this runs away into oblivion like it so often does on here I’m not exactly pushing for that. All you had to do was bold the next eight words after what you did bold.😂

My point was you never know. That is all...

I'm disappointed and feel cheated. I was hoping for another long-winded diatribe.

Pretty amazing how everyone sees what they want to. Next thing you know I hate Lou and Trotz due to them not giving Ho Sang and Barzal 22 minutes a game together on the same line😂

The main point is no matter what I hope they give him a legit shot with decent line mates.

they should put line together of Barzal, JHS and Bailey and call it the passing line. im confident they will break a record for most completed passes without a shot.

That would be the most infuriating line to watch. I'd probably lose my voice from screaming "SHOOT THE FACKING PUCK!" at the TV.

Drawn and quartered? Bit draconian, no? A simple castration ought to suffice.

You sir are a bloody cad.

Canadian tradition dictates that the blade be sharp enough to shave a moist beaver, and that they who are to be castrated, be provided with a mickey of Alberta Premium no less than one half hour before the cut is to be made.

Is there a difference in the blade sharpness required to effectively shave a moist beaver as opposed to a wet or dry one?
