Beau needs to get his head out of his Arz. that was as golden a set up as one can ask for and he missed the net.

Next time his buddy Barzie needs to be more selfish and put that away himself. Barzal has not has a had a very good last few games and it shows.

Lehner stole one point for us and almost stole 2. We need to be better.

i hope Barzal brings its tomorrow in vancouver or this has been one of our worst road visits of the season

Bad game last night...but I've been waiting for some sort of rut for a while. Even as good as they've been playing, I don't think it's realistic to expect them to just waltz into the postseason with no adversity. Washington's had a rough stretch, the Pens have had a couple of rough stretches...everyone except Tampa, really, and teams with a lot more recent success than the Isles have had. We were bound to see some games in a row where it looks like they forgot everything that's gotten them to this point. If they're a good enough team, they'll play their way out of it and right the ship before it gets out of control.

I still don't think they need to overreact to a couple of losses. I'd love to see them bring in help if it's available for a decent price that doesn't cripple the team's future, but one game doesn't change my opinion from yesterday that they shouldn't go for broke and force something.

https://twitter.com/Isles...tatus/1098807457235779584 Here is why Trotz was upset and said they had 4 guys on the ice. It did not have an effect on the play but that guy came off the bench and joined the rush before their other player was over the blue line. He certainly had a point. .... Barzal trailing the play like pajama boy.

She's written a lot about the Isles' arena issues over the years. And there's not much to argue with in that article. I think the Belmont arena was in a better place when you had Amazon generating the most attention. It was like a magnet for all the irrational outrage. With that gone, yeah, the roving morons are probably going to be looking for another scalp.

First of all the was a clear hit to the head. ANYONE else not named McDavid or Crosby and that’s a 5 and a game (Match).

There’s a reason why people are leaving New York more than any other state. The Amazon deal basically told every major company or project that New York and its politicians aren’t open for business. How many times do we need to see the failures around here. It’s an absolute joke. The corruption in Nassau county is at all time highs. They’re fools to be hassling this Belmont project.

All right gentlemen (yes even you Kasper). I’m drunk as (frank) just now, but I shall impart upon you my post game analysis regardless.

1) Anders Lee is even more magnificent live than I had dared hope. If ever any of you bastards suggest trading him, I shall remove your giggly bits post haste (yes even you Kasper). ‘Nuff said.

2) Trotz needs to stop coaching a game to protect the lead . Doesn’t work. Silly fat man.

3) Draisaitl is almost as magnificent as Lee. I love them both so much.

4) Oilers fans are dicks. One of them called Lee a cunt. I challenged him to a duel with pistols at noon. Forgot to name a location. Oh well, the point is that he is a cunt.

5) I met two other Islander fans. One had a signed Lee jersey that he wouldn’t sell me. (frank)ing jerk. The other had a Pajama Putz jersey that he converted to say Satan. He is not a jerk.

6) Snowshoe Hares are really fast. I chased one for two blocks whilst trying to find the place I am staying at. I didn’t catch him. Which is good for him, as I’m not entirely sure if I was gonna (frank) him or eat him. Oh well. Such is life.

I’m going to bed now. I love you all (yes even you Kasper).

- Wildschwein

I heard Uncle Leo wants Lee traded.

Said it last night. If the league wants head shots out of the game they need to make that hit a 5 min penalty.

She lost me at the it would cost $100 million dollars to add some seats and sweets to NVMC.

Candy concessions are there already

But seriously, there is a plan on paper which calls for an extensive renovation which will add seats and suites but will require the roof to come off and also wide the exterior concourse. That would cost 3 times that 100 million.
Hopefully Belmont will proceed after the politicians play the game and delay it to listen to all the community concerns and appease the nah sayers.

I think she said the exact opposite of that...that it would cost a lot more than just throwing another $100 million at some upgrades.

That’s not to say it’s impossible. But another Coliseum upgrade likely would come at a cost of far more than $100 million, plus a revenue deal to give the team a huge share of the arena and the Hub’s development. Even that might not be enough.
