I mean, he's gotta be up there this year. I think he'd get more than Duchene. Granted it depends on who's in need of Centers or Wingers. Panarin might be the best guy out there also. Can't go wrong with Stone or Panarin imho.

I'd have to see who else is on the trading block.

But every year there's always that player who is moved that no one see's coming. Tomas Tatar was pretty random if i remember correctly.

I would put Duchene and Panarin before stone but that’s just my opinion.

By the way, I just read that when Pat Lafontaine got concussed during the playoffs, Ranger fans blocked the ambulance from leaving MSG and were rocking and banging on the sides of it? Honestly, I never knew that and that is So facked up!!

You might be right. I just have a man crush on Stone. Love that guy.

By the way, I'm more of a defensive minded guy. As much as I think we need a Panarin or Duchene kind of move, I still think adding a top 3/if not top pairing D-Man. If we took this current roster and added a top pair D-man I think that carries us through the playoffs. Not that our defense is bad or anything. Just when it comes to long playoff series I think adding a Parayko/Pietrangelo would go a longggg way towards winning a cup.

You know what? Get Boyle the big (frank)ing vagina see if I care. Had it with you (frank)twats. You want him? Fine you win I hope all of your dreams come true but you just remember that poor kid MDC wallowing away making Ho Sang late for practice down in Bridgeport. Boyle would actually hinder the development of two of our prospects!

No he’s not.

Edit;
I’m just kidding btw though I will say a center would obviously be a better add being we have no depth at that position. I wouldn’t be unhappy with any of them in all honesty but I’m worn out after hating Boyle all day so I’m not getting into The Who is better Duchene, Panarin, or Stone debate.

James Patrick, the Rags' d-man, blind-sided Lafontaine, if I remember correctly, knocking him unconscious. And yes, the Rags' fans were disgusting that night, doing everything they could to make it difficult for the ambulance to pass.

BTW, Al Arbour was livid. I don't think Patrick even got penalized. So in the closing seconds of the game, Arbour sent out Vukota, Baumgartner, and any other available tough guys who literally beat on any Ranger they could get their hands on, even after the horn sounded ending the game. Naturally, the League came down hard on Arbour and the Islander enforcers.

Up until that game, I really didn't hate the Rags.

You did not hate the Rangers until then?

I know mdw would have stopped other Ranger fans for doing that to the ambulance.

Panarin is a career PPG player, that's dynamic talent. I think he's the best of the bunch. Stone is a two-way beast but also has the lowest offensive output of the three. He's an unbelievable player, but I think Panarin is ahead of the other two by a significant margin.

No, I actually used to root for the Rags during the Original Six era, because they were the home team. But they were always so pathetic. They would sometimes sign or trade for once great players near the end of their careers.........guys like Boom Boom Geoffrion........but they still sucked. Even when they started to improve in the late 60s, early 70s, they could never figure things out. Then the Islanders were formed in 1972, and the 1975 playoffs got me excited about what was truly my home team.

As recently as the 1986 playoffs, I remember rooting for the Rangers over the Flyers who I think had defeated the Isles in the 1st round. (Then the Habs knocked the Rangers out of the playoffs in the conference finals, and went on to win the Cup behind Patrick Roy's goaltending.)

Well it's obvious none of us or Lou can decide. Let's just go get all 3. Solves that problem.

Please turn in your Isles fan card John.

Rangers were the only team in town so I get it. You did see the light though John.

Honestly I didn't catch panarin when I read it. He is the best player of the three and the one I want the most but don't see it this season
