Absolutely love Lindberg and gonna miss him a lot. Kid has hasn't reached his ceiling yet and picks his game up in the playoffs. He won MVP in the SEL playoffs when he charged his team to the championship.

Decent article, agree with previous post that Haula is probably 2C atm. If anything Lindberg probably pushes Eakin to the wing but to answer your question: was Vegas right in taking him over Raanta? Probably not. There's an argument to be made for Fast as well

I like Lindberg's game but he isn't a 2nd line center by any stretch of imagination. Haula is the safest bet right now.

I like Lindberg's game but he isn't a 2nd line center by any stretch of imagination. Haula is the safest bet right now.

Haula definitely a solid candidate too, but I think Lindberg will do some damage with more icetime. Definitely between he, Eakin, and Haula, I can see all of them playing the 2C role this year until one emerges.

Definitely a big wait and see, but to me, it tells me that McPhee thinks Lindberg's upside is worth more than Fast's more stable, polished game and Raanta's trade value.
