There was an article posted recently, I think it was on PPP, about how the Leafs can sign another UFA as well as resign Brown and still have cap space. But that stuff will need to wait until the day the season starts after all the other contracts have been shuffled around. Makes me wonder if we will see a signing disguised as a PTO during camp.

Good lord this write almost came off as a doom and gloom senerio! once a couple of the extras players are gone ,maybe three? for late round picks 6/7;then I believe that a trade of multi players with occur for defensive help! Unfortunately jvr is the odd man out imho ,Maybe Bozak,but I'd doubt that very much with the lack of center depth! The Brown signing though(or lack of!) is a bit surprise?I wonder if he's the one who teams are most interested in? Etither way their fine!

Idk I think the devils could make a better offer for him in their bottom pairing and I think that if for whatever reason they can't trade for a dman? Then ya he definitely could be an option? ..the devil ya know senerio!
