Nice job Dan! I'm not ready to give up on Strome. I'd like to give him at least one more year. If he must be included as a piece for a 2C fine, otherwise I would not look to trade him.

I just turned it on When they were saying " some good news for Islanders fans". They also mention Garth was on the show earlier. So I was hoping someone knew what it was or what he said.

Strome was the X factor on team.....

I'm willing to bet it was the opt out towards a new arena

Maybe Garth is taking the President of Operations job and the search for a new GM is about to take place.



Nah, too much to hope for.

C is way to nice for Strome as a grade Dan.
Looking at what was expected of him by the organization to become one of the centers to take over some of the responsibilities of FN he gets a F on that alone as he was unable to play the 2 way game expected of him to stay at center with Weight or Crappy as coach.

Looking at the brief lift his game received when Weight was given the bench maybe his grade would be a B- for that 15 game resurgence, but then going back to his uninspired game play after that I would grade him with a D- as a final grade for the year.

I truly think Strome is talented but the problem with him is in-between his ears and I don't know if any coach can get those stupid or dumb puck decisions he makes with the puck out of his game.

I hope I'm wrong and he has a resurgence next season or maybe some other gM out there thinks he can be better and he can be used in a trade to get that true 2 way center this team needs. I'm done with the Strome project, get what you can get and move on.
