Eastern Conference finals? - rume
Not with Snowballs running the show. How in God's name can L&M look at what Snow did, not over the last 10 years, but this year alone and think he deserves to stay. I'm not sure who's dumber, Snow or L&M. More owners that are all talk, no action. I'm done with this team until Snow is gone. |

B- is fair and I could even give him a B playing goal for this defenseless group in front of him. |

I could easily go B for him. Especially, as you pointed out, how many damn turnovers right in front of the net he had to face. |

Seriously, Greiss is a good goalie. The team's struggles under Capuano impacted his performance earlier in the year. His poor performance later in the year, under Weight, was a direct result of Snow's mismanagement of the goalie situation. Dan, as usual, knows the score here.
Clearly, none of us really know what went on with this two year goalie circus. But, at the end of the day, the buck stops with the team's General Manager.
Garth Snow is directly responsible for destroying, perhaps permanently, Berube's development. He is directly responsible for savaging Halak's relationship with the team, whether or not it was strained by "attitude" or "work ethic" or whatever. And Greiss was hung out to dry by a team and two coaches, who for whatever reason, did not or could not make the decisions that would best support the team.
Greiss' performance suffered for sure. But, the team also rode him successfully at the end of 2016. He could have been better. A B- is fair.
On another note, Dan has always been a quality blogger for this site. If you read his blogs since he supplanted Dee, which I have, you'll notice the frustration growing over the last year and a half. I think he's done a great job capturing the spirit of the thing. |

1) Ummm...yeah we know what Snow did. We all know he's a moron. Do we know the inner workings? No. But we know the result.
2) Ummm...yeah we all sensed the frustration building with Dan & Noel. It was the same as ours.
3) A+ for getting a Slapshot reference in there. |

D ickie Dunn
B- is fair and you brought up why he was over used, there were some games like Philly, Toronto, Columbus where he kept them in it the first 10 15 minutes and then was done. Not his fault with no one in front of him. Also Berube was so burnt mentally that weight couldnt play him either. Fair Grade |
