but i agree that he shouldn't be recalled. i think the potential drawbacks outweigh the positives.

if he gets recalled and does badly, hysteria will follow. the management/coaching are dumb for recalling him. he's a bust. trade him. waive him etc.

if it goes really well, i don't want him thinking that he's turned his career/game around going into the off season. rather have him pi$$ed that he wasn't with the big club and train like a demon to prove all the doubters wrong.

a seemingly immature (speculation on my part) kid will think the problem's resolved if the adults are telling him he did his part and all is on track.

rather have him know that he has to prove it in training camp.

I just saw a tweet from the radio play by play guy....can't think of his name right now that said he was traveling with the team. Can't fly with a concussion so I assume he is at the very least not concussed.

It all depends. If they have kids ready to play over him on the roster then for sure no. But if they are short players, after the great purge all are expecting, then rather him then an AHL Free agent type like Megna.
