Hoping for a Kempe call up some time this season.

According to EK, Kings looking to bring Anders Linback over? At least it shouldn't cost much.

Apparently, Lindback is a done deal and it's a 5-game PTO with the Reign (i.e. AHL contract). They may want to see what shape he's in, especially since I see no stats with his Swedish team, so he might not have played yet this season. Lindback says that they'll renegotiate after the PTO is up.

For LA, nothing appears to change immediately. They'll continue to ride with Budaj and Campbell for at least the next week, which could mean seeing Campbell get one of the starts in the back-to-back games this weekend.

I'm no visa expert, but he played in Arizona just last season. I would think that his visa would either still be valid or very easy to renew. It's not like he's been out of the country for years and has to start over from scratch again. I would also just assume that the organization would turn to a different goaltender if there were a weeks-long process to go through, considering the emergency nature of this situation.

He can practice, but can't earn a paycheck until he is official.

I don't think the Kings make a move for a goaltender unless it is a definite upgrade. Neuvirth is a decent option in net, but I don't know that he's upgrade enough to warrant nearly tripling the backup goaltender cap hit. He's certainly not upgrade enough to warrant sending any meaningful assets back Hextall's way.

I think the Kings ride out the Budaj train unless he starts giving up Dan Cloutier-like goals. They've won 3 in a row with him in net. He's certainly not going to run away with the Vezina (his short side could really use some work), but he's doing enough to give the Kings a chance to win every night. The Kings are lucky enough and skilled enough up front to play a style of hockey that doesn't require extraordinary goaltending to collect standings points.
