Yes, Mike Yeo was very cryptic indeed. Held a press conference yesterday to announce that they officially don't know the extent of the injury. And this was after Parises supposed MRI.

He went on to say that "it won't be a month to month" situation and immediately followed that up with "we hope but can't guarantee" anything.

Not really sure what they have to lose or gain by not just coming out and announcing it.

Obviously they must know whether it's a tear or if it's just a sprain. Assuming the only thing they don't know is how much time it's going to take to heal.

Pomanville can lead if given the chance. Hopefully he can fill the role till Zach is healthy again.

Pominville has been absolutely dreadful this season. Not sure he could lead a bantam team at this point. He's not shown much if any leadership since his arrival in Minny.

Why so negative? You guys are winning. Pomanville has been playing a deminished role. We will gladly take Pomanville back if you are so down on him.

How has Pominville been playing a diminished role? He's on the top line and gets top PP minutes? He's been terrible. Whiffing on shots or shanking them. Foot speed is slowing down and his two way game has been bad. If anything I'd say Vanek just needs to start shooting a ton. He still has his snipers touch. He just needs to use it.

Not the man . In Buffalo he was key cog. Hate to see you guys if you were losing.

He doesn't have the skill and quite possibly the centerman to be 'the man' here anymore. And we for all intents and purposes will probably be losing quite a bit here over the next couple of weeks.

Not good for Minnesota. They do have a pretty good offensive lineup so it might not be as bad as some fans think.

He's on the 1st line dude. The only part of his game that has diminished is his offensive ability.

No goals 5 points in 12 games from a perennial 30 goal scorer is not good.

Take your record and be happy . Would you rather someone else not score? Some folks just are not happy unless they can find some misery.

Yes as a matter of fact I would rather have Pominville be scoring, especially with what he's being paid and how much he's being played. Porter or Carter can score once every 15 games on the 4th line. Pominville needs to step up or the losses will start to pile up.

So no other player in the History of the Minnesota Wild has started off slow? Good to know. Quit your female doging and count your blessings.

Except for you know, when you lose your leading scorer and you have a highly paid player thats doing squat, yeah you need said player to step up. Really not hard to comprehend

Stupid bastard only has an assist on the only goal. Buy him out. The sky is falling.

Listen here, Mrs. Pominville... your husband has been a very good player in this league for quite awhile now. However, last year and now the start of this year, he has had a very difficult time scoring goals. He is being paid a lot of money, as I'm sure you know Mrs. Pominville, and he is not producing... not even a little.

Russo speculated that a buyout is very possible at the end of this season. Hopefully he's right

Relax buddy. Pommer has had a great career, just not with the Wild. Trust me when I say no one wants him to play well more than Wild fans, unfortunately right now and most of last season he has not.

Not sure what you're getting so defensive about.... Clearly you have an affinity for the guy, but if he was on you're team doing little to nothing getting almost $6 million a year, I'm guessing you'd be singing a different tune.
