It's the best fantasy game every created. Of course, we're a little biased. The HBSL is a hybrid between a salary cap game and a head-to-head fantasy game. Each week you create your 20 man roster based on the actual NHL salary cap and the actual salary cap hits. You then face-off with a fellow hockey fan. At the end of the regular season, we throw the best 128 teams into a 7-week playoff.

There is a Season Ticket Holder bracket and a Free bracket.

Also, still no word on my Hockeybuzz T shirt or $25 Gift Card. You can still see my name in last year's winners post.

Anyways, either way with that I will retire from HSBL which was essentially the only reason I've been coming to this site the last few years, having signed up for HB a decade ago (doesn't seem that long!).

To the regulars who may happen to read this: it was fun while it lasted, quite a few of us making it to the top every year (mngump, stljam and more).

HSBL has never been a flawlessly run ship but it has deteriorated notably in the last few years culminating in what I assume was a money saving move to remove the STH rewards. Nevertheless thanks also to CaptEO for apparently singlehandedly running this ship for as long as I can remember.

Yes last year and this year we did not offer the STH for division winners.

You were contacted via email last Spring regarding your prize but there was no response.

As I am in Canada, I received a cash equivalent of a TV plus extra for the having to purchase my own TV ( or? ). Much more convenient than trying to deliver to Canada. In U.S. dollars too!!!!
