Thanks, a very pleasant piece of hockey writing for a holiday morning. Everyone does/says it, but I never like the inference that Habs fans are the most passionate, most historic etc. etc. I have lived in other cities and the fans in EDM, CGY, VAN, CHI, NYR, TOR are just as passionate. If you sub out the "Canadiens" and sub in any of the other teams (save for perhaps the new expansion teams etc.) your essay reads the same way and is valid. I would even go so far as to say that Leafs fans have MORE of an addictive type of attention to their team.

Anyway, good writing, thanks for the update and making it a bit personal.

LOVE the Walkman reference. (frank) ipods, smartphones, and tablets. Give me walkmans, Nintendo 64, and vhs.

just wanted to re-iterate that everything i posted before the series started was true.

habs got destroyed by the lightning, and were clearly outclassed.

price deserved much better, and is clearly the only reason why the habs were a playoff team.


literally everyone was saying that, including all hockey experts and media guys.

so next time you want to call me a troll, stop and think for a second. just because i am pointing out facts that make your team look weak, doesn't mean i am being trolling. if anything you guys are trolls for being biased.

I wouldn't say price is the ONLY reason they made the post season. They do have a pretty good d unit. They just really really lack a true #1c. Plekanec had a good season, but he's too small for the 1c position. Size isn't everything when it comes to your franchise center, but when you lack size, you need to play an absolute dynamic style of play, which he doesn't. Nothing against him, he's just not a true game changer like Giroux, Johnson, datsyuk, zetterberg etc.

I got the 2nd on Xbox. Those are the types of games that I prefer, Skyrim, Fallout types. Looks pretty impressive.

Bloodborne was a excellent game and really surprised me. I couldn't get into those Souls series games at all but BB could be GOTY. Might check out Witcher 3 but never played the other two. PSN ID: SmielmaN if anyone collects friends.

that's debatable, but without price they best you can say is they squeak in at 8. their forward group is below average, there is no denying that.

Mainly Genesis. But I bought a couple of games for the NES, Playstation 1 and Saturn as well and I play pretty much all of those. haven't played the saturn stuff yet.

you are funny. the fact you say the lightning destroyed the Habs completely discredits anything you will ever say about hockey in the future. your hate for the team shows you can't give any credible assessment. fail.

Ahh. Didn't say it was a bad game! I just couldn't get into it. A buddy of mine swears by its awesomeness as well. Have you tried Bloodborne? It's really good and crazy hard
