for the record I think it comes down to Team Canada, Manitoba or Alberta.

I'll freak if it ends up being a TC vs. AB final, the Joanne Courtney side story will be fascinating and frankly I'm tired of Jennifer Jones.

no.

Team Canada are the returning champs.

Team Homan represented Ontario in 2013 and returned as Team Canada in 2014 when they won again so they're Team Canada in 2015.

They're from Ottawa but Joanne Courtney their 2nd moved to Ottawa to join them after long time 2nd Alison Kreviazuk ( ) left the team.

She was the 3rd for Team Alberta last year.

ok just googled Alison, i remember her. Very attractive and likely talented. Why'd she leave? the hell is she doing now that's so damn important?

She moved to Sweden with her boyfriend. He curls for the Swedish national team.

edit: Courtney is pretty good too and (frank)in' fun to watch. nobody in the sport sweeps like her.

how often does someone slip or trip over their own feet and fall on top of the stone as they are sweeping?

everytime i watch, i always think about that and know that it would happen to me multiple times if i competed

very rarely. two years ago Weagle lost her footing and accidentally touched a stone.

chaos ensued.

(I think Weagle has a slight snag you'd like it)

I'm very familiar with Team Canada after last Olympics.

Homan has yet to relinquish her psychosexual hold over me

Canada was represented at the Olympics by Jennifer Jones' rink.

you're referring perhaps to the World Championship?

I agree.

so does Joanne Courtney get flack from Ontario fans? It'd be great if she used the Seth Rollins line "I didn't sell out, I bought in..."

no I think it all wet pretty smoothly in Ontario since it was Kreviazuk's choice to leave and they only brought Courtney in later.

This is an interesting storyline but nowhere near as EXPLOSIVE as Cathy O's dismissal from Team Jones a few years back

pretty sure i asked this last year but i forget the answer and i refuse to google

do they each have designated roles, i.e. slider, sweeper, etc... or do they rotate and have everyone take turns with each discipline?

normally the skip will stay in the house giving the one throwing a target.

when the lead throws the 2nd and 3rd will sweep

when the 2nd throws the lead and third will sweep

when the 3rd goes the lead and 2nd will sweep.

when it's the skip's turn to throw normally the 3rd will assume her position in the house and the lead and 2nd will sweep for her.

some teams have different configs though but it's rare, with Alberta Courtney threw 3rd but swept in the role of the 2nd. with Homan she will throw 2nd.

edit: they all throw in the same order though. always two rock each lead, 2nd 3rd, skip

so basically everyone rotates except the skip who is now above sweeping
