As long as Amac's playing we'll be okay.

He's been rough. He's been really rough. Misused and overplayed, but it hasn't been pretty.

However, Streit's been better than advertised, believe it or not.

I don't doubt that, although he was too slow in his own end for us against the pens, but the real question is, how much longer can he play like he is for the flyers, and when he gets even slower, what do you do with him with that contract?

I have no idea how Hextall is going to make changes with your roster with so many players having contracts that no one will want. Umberger/Hartnell is an example of the hit you take each time to get rid of one of them.

His best bet may be to float b schenn out there if somebody rakes vinny and l schenn

I honestly don't think there's a taker for vinny. It's been a year and a half of trying to move him. Vinny, Amac, both likely buyouts by the summer after this one.

they're going to have to take a hit on a number of players just to get them off the roster.

AMac won't be bought out. That would leave 4 years on the contract, giving them 8 years of $1.66M unused. Vinny and Umberger are way more likely.

His foot speed is lacking, as he was never fast to begin with. But he was brought in to be a puck mover who can QB a PP. After this season, he has 2 years left. He'll probably be here for one more full season, and be traded either in the offseason or around the TDL to a team that needs to beef up their PP. He's one of the Flyers' lowest concerns right now.
