I honestly have more respect for Punk then I ever did before. Always thought he was a top 2 performer who consistently stole the show at major PPV's but at least in this instance I feel like he's truthful and doesn't strike me as a guy who really has a reason to lie at this point. Seems like an average guy and if those injuries he mentioned he had were even close to what he described he had every reason to be miserable.

I thought that would be a plus, but ok....

he has a point. Total mismanagement of assets. They ended the longest modern day championship streak to a part timer. Now I know Rock is probably a top 4 guy of all time in terms of popularity but how do you do that poop? And the part where he said Cena, Rock, HHH, Brock and Taker all made WAY more money than him at that Mania is crazy. I'd be pretty pissed off too.

the frustrating thing from a fan's perspective is if he just hung on until his deal expired he probably couldve become one of the part timers...and probably wouldve eventually main-evented mania.

while i was never a huge fan - im with you, he stole the show routinely. 3 of the best matches ive seen in the last few years featured him. vs taker at mania, brock at summerslam, and cena on some Raw (before i got back in).

Yup those were the top three matches for me too. That Cena match was the #1 contenders match for the title at Mania and it was tremendous. Excellent pace and. All the near falls.... I watched Rumble and bits of TV after but that match pulled me back in.

Guy wanted to be better than Cena so he worked more dates and worked hurt, like Cena. Oh but hey it was a flop so he cries mistreatment.

Says he outsold Cena in merch , but they cost him money by turning heel. Ignores that rock, Austin, nwo would sell tons of mercy as heels, maybe punk didn't make it work.

Claims that it was not right that Cena, rock, Brock, taker, hhh all got bigger wm pays. Doesn't realize that those 5 are proven to be bigger draws than him.

Doesn't like part timers taking spots. Forgets that he was lobbying for a match with Austin... At Mania.

Takes credit for Bryan's push. Bryan was out popping him while in a mid-card tag team a year before Punk left.
