I think the Wings are starting to get desperate. I thought they would be a lottery team last year. But they hung on. Is this going to be the year they crash and burn.

They will be a different team if those 2 play 75+ games each

Those guys are getting older. Zetterbergs herniated disk is not good. It will probably shorten each season and he wont be the same. Datsyuk should play more games. Alfie gone.(most likely) Franzen and Cleary getting even older. I don't see them any better than last year.

How could the Leafs sign him??? they just signed Winnik (yes you heard it from me before Ekulnd) where would he fit in??? they still need to sign Gardiner....and they officially have 3 guys they need to send to the Marlies now.....

Come on , Islanders aren't signing another forward FA...
we need to unload some we have already

So the Islanders have 16 forwards with only 14 spots but yet still trying to add unnecessary forwards in FA???

Zeke has been recovering just fine and should be 100 percent by opening day. If it healed right and he doesn't sustain a new injury he should be good for 25 to 35 goals and 70 to 80 points. Nyquist will have a similar season to last year with his shooting percentage returning to normal but playing in more than 59 games like last year he should hover around 50 to 60 points.

Dustin Penner reunited with Burkie?

Why would anyone want either if these guys.i wouldn't sign penner unless he agreed to live with a personal trainer of my choice for one summer.
