Even though Vancouver is the stronger team, they will have a hard time getting through to the finals................................. Montreal's chances of getting to the finals are better, but whoever wins the West will be the favourite.

Boston's the only team in the East that has a solid shot at the cup. They're as good as any team in the West.

I agree if you compare the two teams, that Van>Mtl


Vancouver has the Miller factor, BUT a tougher time to reach the finals, whereas Montreal is in the weaker conference, and an easier path to the finals.

I do not think the Leafs will fall that far back in their second year of rebuild. Second years are always problematic for rebuilds as the younger players take on higher profiles. I do expect for Leafs to be able to hang tough.
