The Penguins didn't need to score in all the games. Just the biggest one.

It was a sweet goal by Kunitz. But more worthy of notice is this: god damn he has a big mouth!

Price is the last goalie I would trust in this situation

Regardless of his stat line, I think Crosby showed he is the best player in the world in this tournament. He really did look that good in the elimination games.

Hopefully this tournament puts an end to the desire of wanting the bigger ice surface in the NHL.

The great Doc Emrick really summed up the amount of time we waste with the useless narratives that are created by the media, bloggers and fans in sports:

"This is the sixth game of the tournament for Canada.. Towes, Crosby and Kunitz have scored the goals. They did not have any until this game. No one seemed too concerned...at least no one athletically seemed concerned. There was some concern by people who have computers, and space in newspaper, and on radio and television across the land of the maple leaf."

Amen to that, last two games he was dangerous. He made a difference when he had too, can't ask for any better.

Not gonna single out the stragglers, cause this was a huge team win, everyone bought in.

Congrats to Canada for an amazing run. I was particularly impressed by Shea Weber with a dominant performance on all parts of the ice. Impressive.

Why is that? I think the bigger ice surface allows the skill of the players to show more than on the smaller ice where there is more general obstruction.

Price is a decent goalie, but he isn't as awesome as Canada fans make him out to be. I could have thrown a shutout in goal playing with that defense. They were outright smothering.

Exactly. The point being that with a defense like that, it wasn't hard to win. Im glad you agree that it wasn't Price in particular who was stellar.

He was focused and thus he was good when called upon. But he never had to steal a game.

Against the Americans was when he was called upon the most and he was excellent in that game.

He made some very good saves. The defence was dominating, but not perfect.

Canada was tied or up by a goal for nearly the entire time price played. He never really had a cushion against Latvia or the USA. He made the saves when he had to, and some of those saves were great.
