Let's go Blues.

Seeing Jamie Rivers on TV reminds me of a funny story we heard from a stripper on the East side. Jamie R is much better than Pronger (in bed).

Better start for the Blues than the Kings thus far; yet again, the Blues control more of the loose pucks early on.

Williams drills the post on the near side. Kind of sums up the Kings in this series so far.

Clifford them tries to line up Oshie and gets the worst of it.

And this series continues to be the best of all 8. Wow.

Perron with the penalty after the scrum.

Surprised they let Carter's batting forward of the puck go. Usually the standard is "have to drop it right there" without pushing it forward to gain an advantage.

Backes beating Doughty in a foot race shows us who is more hungry. So sad.

Backes with a nice defensive play and then gets in for a shorthanded chance. Not sure if Doughty gave him a little slash there or not; either way, Quick made a really nice stop there.

And we don't need a phrase like "bug-eyed walrus" in a series between two division rivals to make it that way.

Quick is really cheating over on the shots right now. If the Blues can be patient, they could abuse that.

No bulletin board material. No sending a message.

Just fast and hard hitting hockey. And for as big as the hits have been, it's been mostly clean.

Williams has been the Kings best player all series and it's not close. I don't think I ever realized how good he could be.

If we could somehow get a mean streak in Bergy, he would be a force only equal to that of The Polak Door. Please get pissed Berglund!

End of 1st, no scoring. Officially the Kings outshot the Blues 8-6 and outhit them 29-15, but I thought the Blues generally had the advantage in the period.

Blues came out strong for sure. For a good 5 mins or so. But then the Kings got going. It was a good period all around.

CBC said Blues' fourth line best in playoffs. Lots of love for Porter, Reaves, and Cracknell. Sutter picked Cracknell 279th overall in 2004 for Flames. Now he is being a thorn in Sutter but thanks him for getting him to the NHL. Is there a better sport? Rhetorical question. Answer is no.

Blues look confident. In 20+ years watching them, haven't seen this much confidence. Definitely helps my heart condition. Can actually watch the game without breaking furniture or screaming at the TV.

Go Blues!!!!!

LOL. I hear ya man. Blues are seriously doing what LA did last year. Sad thing for me in this series is that I really like the Blues.

Let's see ... guy has the puck and tries to go 1-on-3? Waves at the puck up in the air as it goes by, which would make it a high stick and bring the puck back to the defensive zone? Must be Perron on the ice.

What a nutty scramble around the net, and Voynov beats Elliott with a shot just inside the far post - but that was after the Blues defense blocked a few shots and almost got the puck up of danger. Can't fault either side on that; now the Blues have to do the same thing to respond.

Kings 1, Blues 0.

Everyone thinks whom ever wins this series is gonna limp into the next round. I think which ever team wins is gonna be fine. No other team in the playoffs in the West plays defense the way these two teams do.
