That's the trouble. I don't know that the Lightning are in a position to give up the value Buffalo will certainly want. Conacher is untouchable at this point, I believe. |

One hell of a blog. Good work.
I would assume it would start with a mid-upper level Prospect and a 1st. Darcy always holds out for more, and has been know to ask for the world for all of his players.
This is interesting for sure! |

Thank you!
That's sort of where I'm at too, though I doubt Steve Yzerman is willing to deal his first rounder at this point given where his team is in the standings. That would be foolish, in my opinion. |

I hope your not implying thats an overpayment
If I'm the GM of the Buffalo Sabres I laugh at that. But were talking about Darcy Regeir, so that is a very serious offer |

I have a feeling Mary is leaving, not that he would want to go to Buffalo. Just seams weird last night they honored him at the game then today he’s hosting a McDonald’s fan thing. Seems like odd timing if you ask me. That would suck if we finally got a ligament goalie and we need to move him to get one. Miller isn’t coming cheap either some young stud is leaving, maybe Connolly? |

If this rumored offer is being discussed and considered by both teams I have to believe that either one of Connolly or Conacher are being discussed. I get what you are saying about Conacher but I just don't see another scenario where Regier would trade Miller unless it includes one of those two. |

I don't think he goes. Doesn't make sense to deal him with Cooper going on about making the playoffs this season. If he goes, I bet it's in the off-season. |

Agreed. I don't know who would be more available from the Lightning's perspective. Then there's the question of whether or not it's worth it for the Lightning to make that sort of deal. Trading a pillar of the future for Miller when Vasilevski will be ready in a few years comes with inherent risk given the fact that these teams will see a lot of each other in future years. |
