it was a little better as i moved up, when it was ex-pro guys taking control of teams, but parents still find a way to leave their mark

A lot of guys I know said that the big AAA associations that would get the retired pros/ex-dub/exCIS helping out were better and that for the most part that Junior A, college and WHL was primarily merit based because money was at stake.

Its the smaller associations that generally are the worst I found. Like the town big enough to have AAA but not big enough to be a lure. The worst is probably the sub AAA levels but above like tier 3 house.

There was a great post from a Canuck fan that had a meltdown when someone called into question his hockey knowledge and he brought up some story about how he did a personal scouting trip, for his fandom, to go watch Kevin Bieksa in his draft year while he was playing in (frank)-knows-where Ontario because he had a hunch the team would draft him.

He said he then wrote up a report and express mailed it to the team and they sent him a "thankyou and a job offer!!!!!1!" but he didn't take it because he just loved the game too much or something

Remember when dshiddy accused you of costing the Canucks games #2, #4 and #5 in a series against the Hawks lol?

What the poop is tier 3 house? House-select-single A/hub?

Do you remember the poster who would always talk down to people because he used to be a stat tracker (ie. the guy who input the gamesheets onto the website) and that is why he was smarter than "everyone here!"?

He explained +/- as "positive/negative" and that "negative's" still counted if you were on the PK but the PP team wouldn't get "positive's" because they were expected to score.

Like levels of house league.

After various A levels, you'd get like tier 1, 2, 3 and down to like 14.

I went back like a day later to save the post. I had the page bookmarked but a mod or him deleted it and all the posts that quoted it.

Same if I was bigger and didn't drink. I don't have the injury excuse like you but I did (frank) up my hamstring and never rehabbed it properly and it still makes it tough sometimes to stop/turn sharp on my left skate

the hip is the only excuse i have. groin was last year in beer leagues, ankle doesn't affect anything, but it clicks now.

Dude, I tweaked one of my hip flexors once and I could barely walk. I couldn't imagine having you entire hip break in half like the titanic on you.
